I love plant medicine – probably because plants are so synergistic when they are working with our systems to restore balance.  They don’t push certain pathways but rather create more harmony and alignment on every level of our being.

I was formulating an herbal tincture for myself this weekend and wanted to share a little with you about herbs and their amazing powers – on both the energetic and physiological levels.

It is important to be aware of what you’re taking – and how it might interact with other supplements or medications that are part of your current routine.

I think it’s also really important to have a formula that takes YOU into consideration – not just “the condition” you’re working on.  Because there are many layers to plant medicine, it’s important to know which are the best fit for you.  For example, if you tend towards feeling anxious or have too much mental energy, then certain plants like siberian ginseng may be too stimulating for you, even though it’s renowned for treating stress and adrenal fatigue.
