Many people have been eagerly awaiting the development of a vaccine to protect us against COVID and are grateful that it arrived quickly.  Many people have been wary of a drug that has been quickly produced and worry about its potential long-term effects.  Who’s right and who’s wrong here?  Neither. They are simply different points of view.  Both with valid reasoning and both worth honoring.

What is most true is that everyone across the globe has been affected by this pandemic and would like this whole thing to be in the past.

What is still present for a lot of us is fear.  Getting vaccinated (or not) hasn’t seemed to shift the culture of fear that so many have been feeling – which leads to frustration, despair, disappointment and grief.  You are eager to hug your loved ones and gather for celebrations.  You want to be in connection and feel free to travel without consequences.

You long to know that you are safe.

We are all, whether we vaccinate or not, volunteers in a phase 3 clinical trial that is part of a large research experiment.  Folks who vaccinate are in one group, folks who don’t are in another – usually called the “control” group.  There are risks and benefits in each group.  There are unknowns on either side. Perhaps rather than using a vaccination choice as another thing to separate ourselves from each other, this can be an opportunity to honor and appreciate all your fellow humans who have volunteered for one group or the other, based on what is in the highest alignment for them in this moment.

Regardless of the health choice that you make based on what is best for your health, I wanted to offer some information about natural therapies that can support your system before and after receiving the COVID vaccine.  Of course, check with your health care provider before choosing to vaccinate or use the following supplements.
